Blame homebuilders for credit crunch

Blame homebuilders for credit crunch
Every time we turn around they are trying to put the blame on someone else for the way the economy has become. Now people are blaming homebuilders for the credit crunch that we have found ourselves to be in. All across the country people feel that homebuilders have taken advantage of them. People feel that the homes being made are far more extravagant then they need to be. They also think that the homes have not been made with the energy efficiency being taken into effect. A lot of people feel that the homes have outrageous heat bills and that the energy efficient homes that they have been told were being built are not available to them. All the promises that the home builders were giving potential buyers seem to be forgotten. The buyers are getting the homes but not realizing that the things that were promised to them were not there until the bills start coming in. By this time it is too late to do anything about it and they suffer in silence. Not only are the home owners upset with the things that were promised being non existent they feel that the home builders are taking advantage of them as well. People are also blaming home builders for the credit crunch when they see the price reductions in the newspapers week after week. Homes are $349,000 one week and then they drop $30,000 the next. When people see these fluctuations in prices week after week there is reason for them have a lower level of faith in the home builders. They wonder why the homes are being priced so highly to begin with. As a direct result of the people across the country feeling this way, it has caused some of the home builders around the country to feel irreversible effects from the credit crunch. Many have been forced as far as the point of bankruptcy. With the sales of homes at a standstill the home builders are unable to pay their creditors thus resulting in them no longer being a viable company. All the people that are blaming the home builders for the credit crunch are forgetting that the home builders are not the only ones to blame for the state of the economy. People need to look more at the big picture and instead of blaming everything around them, start by blaming themselves as well. We all let things happen to us over the course of our lives and we are all somewhat responsible for the way the nation is now.

American music charts

American music charts
Like in other countries music in America also evolved gradually. The amalgamation of various cultures saw the different styles of music merge and thrive in America. Jazz, swing, Rock and Roll, blues country, folk were some of them. The emergence of radio increased the demand for music. Soon Elvis Pressley became the well-known, best selling singing sensation of America. His music laid the cornerstone for development of music in America. A new way for promoting the top 40 songs emerged on television. During the 1960-1965, America saw rock bands surfacing. Rock music, Mexican pop and soul music came to light. From 1970 onwards interesting developments began taking place in American music. Disco music dominated the end of the 70′s. Many new stars were born during the disco age – Donna Summer, Bees Gees, Village people are some of them. Disco ruled the American music charts for a few years. American Music charts were then replaced by songs sung by Madonna, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Anthrax, Britney Spears and others. Here is the list of some of their top songs. Madonna’s ‘Papa Don’t Preach’ released as a single is a very memorable song about teen pregnancy. The song had good lyrics and good music. Overall it was a great pop package made on a serious subject. It was admirable on Madonna’s part to compose a song for tackling a social problem. One of Madonna’s earliest hits ‘Borderline’ has great vibes. It was amazing how a hit delivered in the 80′s could hold up for so long. Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ was the most requested song of the year 1983. It stood among the top 20 on America’s music charts. The song was sung on a full pitch making ‘Beat it’ a signature tune for the popular album ‘Thriller’. ‘Don’t stop ’til you get enough’ has remained popular even after thirty years of its release and is on heavy rotation at retro parties. Its appealing and groovy tune can make even a crouch potato the desire to dance. This song made Jackson a recognizable and biggest male disco artist internationally. The music video of ‘Black and White’ from the album Dangerous was very entertaining, this helped it to top the American music charts. The song was a fusion of rap and hard rock; this is what made it appealing. Some of the songs from the American music charts are timeless pieces without a shelf-life. You will still find people grooving to them at dance parties. Whether they are songs with a social message or about falling in love, the songs from the American music charts have always entertained us.
